This is why it is suggested that Apple create a specialized Passwords app

In today's digital age, passwords are an essential part of our lives. With so many online accounts and services, it's easy to become overwhelmed and forget passwords. This is where a dedicated Passwords app can come in handy, and while Apple offers some built-in options, there's still room for improvement.

Firstly, a dedicated Passwords app would provide a centralized location for users to manage their passwords. Currently, Apple offers Keychain, which can sync passwords across devices, but it doesn't allow for easy editing or organization. A standalone Passwords app would provide a more user-friendly experience with features such as sorting, categorization, and search functionality.

Another benefit of a dedicated Passwords app is security. By creating a specialized app, Apple can focus on providing a more secure platform for password management. This could include features such as biometric authentication and password generation tools, which would make it easier for users to manage and secure their accounts.

Finally, a Passwords app would provide an alternative to third-party options. While there are numerous password management apps available, users may be hesitant to use them due to privacy and security concerns. With an Apple-built app, users can trust that their passwords are being securely managed and not being sold to third-party services.

Unfortunately, Apple has not yet created a dedicated Passwords app. However, there is a workaround that can achieve similar results. Using the Notes app, users can create a note for each account with the username and password information included. The note can then be locked with a password, secure with biometrics, or protected with a passcode.

While this workaround provides some security and organization, it's not as robust as a dedicated Passwords app would be. Users may still find themselves struggling to manage dozens of notes, and the lack of password generation tools means that users are still at risk of using weak passwords.

In conclusion, a dedicated Passwords app would be a welcome addition to Apple's suite of built-in apps. Providing a centralized, customizable and secure location for password management would be an attractive feature for many users. While there is a workaround with the Notes app, it's not a perfect solution. Hopefully, Apple will consider building a standalone Passwords app in the future.
